Munich 28th-30th July 2009. Interpreting job at the AUDI Cup 2009. This preseason tournament was organized in celebration of AUDI`s 100th anniversary and took place in the Allianz Arena in Munich. Participating football clubs were the hosts Bayern Munich, Italian giant AC Milan, English heavyweight Manchester United and Argentinian stars Boca Juniors. Bayern won the final vs. ManU after penalties. Boca Juniors finished third beating AC Milan after penalties.
Amsterdam 24th-26th July 2009. Interpreting job at the preseason Amsterdam Tournament. Participating football sides were, hosts Ajax Amsterdam, FC Sunderland (Engl. Premiership), Atlético Madrid and Benfica Lisbon who won this tournament in the decisive match against Ajax. Pressconference with Abel Resino, Atlético coach, and Martin Jol, Ajax coach. Rome, 27th June 2009. Interpreting job with German Sport braodcaster Premiere, being responsible for Spanish interviews of the Champions League finale between FC Barcelona and Manchester United. After a slow start Barcelona took over and started to dominate the match, at the end they won by 2:0. The Catalans by this made history in Spanish football winning the triple, it is the Spanish Cup, the Spanish Championship and the Champions League.
London, 6th May 2009. Interpreting job for German TV station Premiere in London at Stamford Bridge, the FC Chelsea stadium. Halffinal clash between FC Chelsea vs. FC Barcelona. Final result 1:1. FC Barcelona qualifies for Champions League Final in Rome after 1:1 on aggregate. First leg at the Camp Nou ended 0:0.
